10 Proven Signs You’re Falling in Love

by | Love

May 25, 2020

Love is based on more than physical appearance. It’s based more on your feelings, connection, or constant affection for a person. You can’t force yourself to love someone. Love comes naturally when we least expect it. You know you’re in love already when it’s too late.

Even when you try to stop yourself from loving someone, your mind will keep drifting off to that person from time to time. We have all experienced it one way or the other. It could be a sign that you’re falling in love.

Have you ever been in love? Well, I’m telling you today that it’s one of the best feelings you can ever feel in this world. You start to feel butterflies in your tummy, or it feels like you’re floating on air whenever you’re around that particular person. Also, when you’re in love, you’ll notice that something is different about you, and you keep wondering what exactly it is.

You’ve met that special person already, and you’ve hit it off perfectly well, but the question you may sometimes ask yourself is if you’re really in love with that person that keeps reminiscing in your mind over and over again, and you want to find the answer.

In the initial stage of dating, it might be hard to pinpoint what your heart is telling you, and you may have a surge of intensely mixed feelings all at once. You might even be unsure of whether or not it’s merely a physical attraction, infatuation, or the real deal.

Moreover, you may start to wonder if your newfound love thinks of you the same way and if they’ve given any thought to developing the relationship even further.

That is why we’ve come up with ten ways for you to fully decipher your emotion and get to know if you’re falling in love.

Here are10 signs you’re falling in love

1. You find yourself trying out new things

When people often fall in love, they tend to go out of their comfort zone and try new things or engage in activities that interest their partner.

You find yourself becoming curious to learn more about them, so you begin to participate in their hobbies, go to their favorite places, or even eat their favorite foods. This, in turn, also helps you know some important details about them.

2. You’ve been stressed lately

Stress often goes hand in hand with falling in love. When you fall in love, you’ll start thinking of various ways to impress your partner, causing you to feel a little anxious.

You’ll also begin to care more about how you present yourself or what to say when they ask you a personal question.

It’s normal to feel a mixture of nervousness and excitement when you’re around your newfound love, but having a degree of safety and trust is highly essential.

It is important to ensure that you are not anxious for the wrong reasons, such as how long it will take your partner to text you back or whether or not they are cheating on you.

If you find out you’re anxious over matters like this, it isn’t an indicator that you’re falling in love. Instead, it is a sign of insecure attachment.

3. You feel motivated

When you find that being with your partner is a rewarding and fulfilling experience, you’d want to feed that instant sense of gratification by spending more and more time with him. Your life will generally be significantly better.

For example, you might have had low self-esteem or thought very low about yourself in the past, but ever since you started this new relationship, your sense of self-worth has improved.

4. Your partner returns the same feelings as you

It’s a beautiful feeling when you know that you like him and he likes you back. Although liking isn’t as strong or equivalent to love, people have to like each other first before falling in love.

When you and your partner like each other, it encourages both of you to form a deeper bond.

People fall in love only when they discover the true layers of their partner’s personality; forming a better understanding of one another and finding out that those connections bring the two of you closer together is an essential ingredient to love

5. You miss your partner when they are not around

The more you miss your partner, the more committed you are to them. If your partner is always constantly on your mind, even when they’re not around, it is a green light that shows that you are in love.

When two people miss each other when they are apart, it reflects how interdependent their lives have become. It also brings a feeling of emptiness when he or she is not around.

6. You’ve experienced this feeling before

If you fall in love too often, then you’re less likely to find the real deal. Suppose the feelings you’re developing for your partner feel similar to something you experienced when you fell in love in your past relationships. In that case, chances are it’s exactly what is happening right now.

Don’t overthink or try to understand your feelings too much. instead, embrace them and listen to them. You’re more likely to figure out what your heart is telling you that way.

7. You’re investing more time with your partner

10 Ways To Know If You Are Falling In Love

People who fall in love invest more time into making their partner an active part of their lives. It also helps to stabilize their interdependence, leading them closer to their partner, especially if you’re a busy person with a packed schedule.

If you find yourself creating space out of your tight schedule to spend more time with your partner, then there is probably a good chance that you have profound feelings for them.

8. Your partner’s happiness is important to you

When you love someone, their success and happiness are important to you. You see the potential in them and want to support them every step of the way, no matter how challenging the journey is.

You believe in them. When they achieve their goals, you celebrate with them even when you’re struggling to make your dreams a reality. There is no jealousy or an ambitious urge to stop them because their happiness has become a priority to you.

9. You feel like a different person now

When you fall in love, you become a better person and gain more confidence than before. You strive to change all bad habits to good ones because you don’t want to make your partner angry in any way.

When you fall in love, you find out you begin to change due to the positive encouragement you get from your partner.

10. You’re always tempted to say I love you

If you find yourself wanting to say these three words to your partner, that’s how you feel about them. If it’s something that’s been on your mind for a while, and you’ve been trying to find the right time to say it, then it means you might be falling in love.

Furthermore, the reason you might be stalling to say it might be because you don’t know how your partner will react. You may also be afraid that you’re going too fast. Don’t let that hold you back, though. There’s always going to be a degree of risk in falling in love.
